Visitors & Volunteers
For the safety of our students and staff, all visitors and volunteers are required to sign in and sign out at the office. Visitors and volunteers may only enter through the main entrance. Please ring the doorbell (silver button). One of our office staff will unlock the door for you.
Parent volunteers are a very important part of our school community! All volunteers are required to submit a Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check and other related documents before being permitted to volunteer.
Criminal Record Checks
Steps to obtain a Criminal Record Check, with Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check
- Please contact the office for a Vulnerable Sector Check form.
- Take this form to your local RCMP Detachment for processing.
When completed, our office needs to see the original Criminal Record Check document. Please bring the original to the office where they will take a copy and retain the copy on file for 5 years.
Each year after an Annual Declaration Criminal Record Check Volunteer form will need to be completed and retained at the school.
We also require an annual Confidentiality/Non Disclosure Undertaking Volunteers form to be completed prior to volunteering.
