Child Development Advisor

Our Child Development Advisor (CDA) is dedicated to providing holistic care for our children and families, a vital initiative supported throughout Rockyview Schools. CDAs possess specialized training in child development and mental health, enabling them to tailor their approach to the unique needs of each student. Their role encompasses a wide range of support mechanisms to assist students and families on their developmental journey, ensuring comprehensive and individualized care.  

  • Regular well-being check ins
  • Individual Discussions (peer relationships, grief, coping skills, emotional regulation skills) 
  • Small Groups (brain – body connection, emotional regulation, friendship skills)
  • Classroom Observations 
  • School Wide – Virtue/ Character Development Based Projects and Incentives

  • Community Connections – Grandparent Program
